Do you accept Medical Insurance?Here at Northern Hope we are a Self Pay Clinic, requiring payment at the time of service. We will prepare a Super Bill if requested with the breakdowns of the days services & prices with the correct medical billing codes for you to send into your insurance company for reimbursement.

What type of neurological conditions are treated at Northern Hope?Just to name a few: Outburst behavior, Behavioral/Education Anxiety, POTS, Strokes, Traumatic Brain Injuries (concussions), Seizures, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Dizziness/Vertigo, Migraines/Headaches

Do you do chiropractic adjusting?Yes! We use manual adjustments, activator, drop piece, Active Release-Graston, and applied Kinesiology.

Can you help with dizziness/Vestibular Diseases?Yes, with the aid of VNG testing (Video Nystagmography) using a camera to trace quick eye movements & responses to certain visual cues or positional changes. Neural pathways connect balance mechanisms of the inner ear with the muscles of the eye.

What is a Chiropractic Neurologist?A doctor of Chiropractic who has a Neurology Diplomate. We also have advanced training in neurology that requires board certification.

Do you treat infants and children?Yes, both Dr. TJ and Dr. Sara Graber Pediatric Certified and welcome all ages!

What is the FX 635 Cold Laser?This cold laser is FDA cleared for acute & chronic pain management. It helps with a multitude of conditions such as Plantar Faciitis, low back pain, join inflammation, scar tissue, acne, brain fog, neuropath and more.

What is the Zerona Laser?The Zerona is a fat emulsifying cold laser to aid in the loss of inches/adipose (fat) tissue, when combined with a healthy diet and exercise. This could be your last stop in unwanted weight loss management.

How long is an appointment?Appointment times vary according to service requested. New patient chiropractic is 60 minutes, existing chiropractic patients are 30 minutes, metabolic appointments are 30-45 minutes, neuro appointments are 60 minutes, VNG testing is 45 minutes, VNG report is 30 minutes.

How much does an appointment cost?New patient chiropractic is $110, existing patient chiropractic is $55, metabolic consultation is $90 and follow-up is $65, neurological consult is $180, VNG testing & report of findings is $180, new youth patient chiropractic is $105, existing youth chiropractic is $45. It is best to call and we can give you a more precise idea once we know the direction of treatment.

What chiropractic add-on services are available?Graston or ultrasound aid to break up scar tissue. We also offer massage, cupping, personalized physical therapy, acupuncture, and kinesiology taping.

Can I schedule online?No, we prefer to hear your voice and understand your scenario! We can then schedule an appropriate amount of time as well. Our new patients should call the clinic at 218-232-3178 to be best served.

What is Vestibulonystagmagraphy (VNG) testing?During VNG testing, a patient wears a pair of goggles with a camera attached. This records eye movement while tracking moving light while the body & head are placed in various positions. At the end of this procedure, cool & warm air is inserted into the ear to determine how the balance system is responding.

Do you do large chiropractic treatment plans?No, we tailor the number of visits to the need of the condition. For example, a chronic shoulder will traditionally be close to 6 appointments. When it comes to neurological issue/disposition, we will offer a specific plan and frequency to benefit the family.

Do you do Lyme disease testing or help with the treatment of Lymes?Yes, we utilize FDA-approved Biomerdian test to confirm the type, offered by our acupuncturist Danette Vanderbeek. We then pair with your medical doctor and Eastern medicine to treat and move forward in your recovery plan.

Does your FX 635 Laser help with Lymes flare ups?Yes! It works on the mitochondrial function of the cell (energy) to aid the body in shedding old cells and reducing inflammation by 54% per visit.

Do you use homeopathy?Yes! Offered by Healing Point Acupuncturist Danette Vanderbeek. Please call for more specific as this is a large area of treatment protocols.

My child is wetting the bed at night after being dry for 3 years. Can you help?Yes! There’s a series of questions we will ask to figure out the best treatment plan. Treatment can range from specific adjusting, nervous system stimulating, Oxygen deprivation issues, food insult (dye/preservative/chemical), parasitic testing, brain hemispherity issues. We take a big picture approach.

Do I need a referral to be a patient here?No referral necessary! Although we do appreciate MRI reports, bloodwork, and diagnostics performed in the past if available.
